The possessed Gadarenes, healed by the Lord Jesus Christ, and thus become sane.
As written in some books of Scripture, the demons are evil spirits are fallen angels, have the power to take possession of people, and then their minds, but also make them sick of any physical illness .
In fact, the Bible speaks of demons who have the power to make people become lame, blind, deaf, to make them hallucinate, hear voices of them, in instigating things unusual, odd of any kind, the demons have the power to make sick people with fears unjustified, unnecessary panic, depression, etc.. etc..
Luke 8:26-3,
Then they sailed to the region Gadarenes which is opposite Galilee, and when he went ashore, there met him a man of that city, which already had long possessed by demons, and not wearing clothes, and did not live in any home, but among the tombs.
When he saw Jesus, he cried out, fell at his feet and said loudly: "What is there between me and thee, O Jesus, Son of the Most High God? Please do not torment me. "
fact, Jesus commanded the unclean spirit to come out to the man, because many times it had seized and, although it was bound with chains and shackles and was guarded, he broke the bonds and was driven by the demon in the desert. And Jesus asked him, saying:
"What is your name?". And he said, "Legion." Because many demons had entered him.
And they begged him not to command them to go into the abyss. Or was there a large herd of pigs grazing on the mountain, and those demons begged him that would allow them to enter those.
And he suffered them. The demons then, out of the man and entered the pigs, and the herd rushed down the cliff into the lake and drowned.
And when they saw what had happened, those who kept them fled and went to bring the news to the city and the countryside. The people came out to see what had happened and came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had gone sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed and sane, and he was afraid.
Or those who saw the incident and told them how the demoniac had been freed. Then the whole population of the region Gadarenes asked Jesus to get away from them because they were seized with great fear. And Jesus went up into the boat came back.
Meanwhile, the man from whom the demons had gone out, he begged him to stay with him, but Jesus sent him away, saying: "Go back to your house and says how great things God has done for you. " And he went around the city proclaiming the great things Jesus had done for him.
The dumb healed
is to be noted that not all those who are dumb or blind are necessarily possessed, there are diseases that are in fact due to genetic abnormalities.
Luke 11:14 And he was casting out a demon that was dumb, and it came to pass when the demon had gone out, the dumb spoke and the crowds were amazed.
Matthew 9:33 And when the demon was driven out, the dumb spoke and the crowds marveled, saying, "Do not you ever seen such a thing in Israel

and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone,
If a person is a believer, a Christian should trust in God and not in men.
Mental illnesses such as schizophrenia and depression are due to spiritual phenomena, so you heal from these kinds of diseases only with the help of Almighty God.
