This provided the first album of some major groups of Vanguard Paulista. Worth listening to all, each has a very peculiar style, keeping, however, a very remarkable element in common: The strangeness. The historic event which marked the intensely Vanguard Paulista was the possibility of different musical experiences through Theatre Lira Paulista, and simultaneously, the record which they have originated. This characterizes the music as it allowed for a musical activity and studio work independently. But its significance is far reaching, especially in the aesthetic field: this was the condition for the emergence of a new musical aesthetic, whose form surpassed the requirements of the market.
It is especially an issue for me: Because no one believes these progressive albums? Be an exaggeration to find close similarities between the Vanguard Paulista and strand RIO / Avant-Prog properly discovered a few years before?
